North Dakota Tops the Nation in Migration Growth
We're excited to share that North Dakota led the nation in net migration in 2023, with a 1.76% increase in residents, according to a ConsumerAffairs study using U.S. Census data. This growth reflects our state’s affordable cost of living, abundant job opportunities in energy, agriculture, and technology, and overall high quality of life. North Dakota's strong economy has attracted newcomers, particularly from neighboring Minnesota, as well as Texas, Louisiana, and Florida, as more people discover all that our state has to offer.
