Fenworks, a North Dakota-based leader in esports and high-tech after-school activities, has rapidly expanded its reach and impact, thanks in part to the support of the North Dakota Development Fund through its Angel Match Program. This partnership has played a pivotal role in fueling Fenworks' remarkable growth and innovation.

Since 2021, Fenworks has grown from working with 16 schools in North Dakota to supporting over 150 schools across four states, including Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wyoming, for the 2024-25 season. Their offerings now include cutting-edge programs like drone racing and a sanctioned esports league in South Dakota, reflecting the rising demand for STEM-focused initiatives.

Fenworks’ commitment to investing in local talent and technology has been central to its success. With 17 full-time employees primarily based in Grand Forks, Fenworks has also added an in-house developer to continuously enhance its software platform, which serves about 2,000 active users.

Key milestones include hosting the record-breaking 2023-24 Fenworks ND/MN Esports State Tournament at the University of North Dakota and partnering with Special Olympics North Dakota and South Dakota to launch inclusive unified programs.

With the support of the Angel Match Program, Fenworks continues to lead the way in esports, drone racing, and STEM education, empowering students across the region and demonstrating the transformative power of innovation and investment.
