The Tourism and Marketing Division of the North Dakota Department of Commerce has partnered with the ND Department of Transportation and State Historical Society of ND to distribute travel brochures at thirteen DOT rest areas and two historic site visitor centers. Tourism works with program partners to get material to a central warehouse, sets up racks, ships brochures, and works with NDDOT caretakers and Historical Society staff to keep racks fully stocked.
This program provides travelers with reliable, printed resources about destinations and services, enhancing visitor experiences and boosting local tourism. Quality brochures help connect visitors to attractions, events, and businesses, to encourage longer stays and increased visitor spending.
