The Jamestown Downtown Association (JDA) has made remarkable strides in revitalizing downtown Jamestown, thanks in part to funding awarded from the Renaissance Zone program from Commerce. This program encourages development through state and local tax incentives, providing a crucial tool for cities like Jamestown to breathe new life into their communities. Under the passionate leadership of Lynn Lambrecht, the JDA has utilized these funds to enhance the downtown area significantly. Projects include restoring historic buildings, improving pedestrian-friendly features, and revitalizing underutilized spaces. Recent projects funded by the Renaissance Zone include Tim Perkins’ Premium Property Management building, which showcases a beautiful apartment upstairs and a service business downstairs.
