Development Fund Awards Funding Requests totaling $315,200

Bismarck, N.D. -- The North Dakota Development Fund, a funding program within the North Dakota Department of Commerce, awarded funding for four projects totaling $315,200 at its board meeting held in June.
 
The North Dakota Development Fund was created in 1991 as an economic development tool. It provides flexible funding through debt and equity investments for new or expanding North Dakota primary sector businesses. The fund also manages a daycare loan program that the North Dakota Legislation created in 2009.
 
The following requests were funded:
 
Children of Hope Childcare, LLC (Fargo) was awarded a $100,000 loan to improve an existing building into a new childcare facility. The company provides daycare services for the Fargo area.
 
Skid-Lift, LLC (Fargo) was awarded a $90,200 loan to purchase new equipment for in-house manufacturing of their skid-lift product and provide working capital.
 
Little Learners at The Learning Circle (Fargo) was awarded a $40,000 loan to purchase an existing childcare facility. The company provides daycare services for the Fargo area.
 
Here We Grow at The Learning Circle (Fargo) was awarded an $85,000 loan to purchase an existing childcare facility. The company provides daycare services for the Fargo area.
