The North Dakota Department of Commerce has named Holly Holt as the Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives. Holt will be focused on the Main Street Initiative, working with communities and partners to help North Dakota build on its strengths and compete in an increasingly global economy. She will also work with multiple state agencies to help in the delivery of offerings and measurement of their success.

"Holly’s business and leadership experience will help North Dakota to further develop Commerce programs and the Main Street Initiative,” Commerce Commissioner Jay Schuler said. “The Main Street Initiative continues to gain momentum in communities across the state. She will be joining a team already working with local leaders to shape the future of North Dakota.”

A native of Mayville, Holt most recently worked at Intelligent InSites in Fargo where she was Senior Vice President of Customer Engagement. Her professional experience includes senior leadership and strategy, product/project management, marketing and customer engagement.

“I’m excited to be part of the team working with North Dakota communities to help build healthy, vibrant communities. North Dakotans have a strong history of supporting those dedicated to their community’s vibrancy and economic progress.” Holt said.

The Main Street Initiative is focused on three pillars of economic success: a skilled workforce; smart, efficient infrastructure; and healthy, vibrant communities to help North Dakota compete in a 21st century economy in which rapid technological advancement is changing every job, industry and organization.
