The second annual North Dakota Imagination Library Summit will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, from 10 AM - 3 PM, in the Brynhild Haugland Room at the North Dakota State Capitol in Bismarck. This is an exciting opportunity for both existing and prospective sponsors and affiliates to learn how to make the most of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in their local communities, assess and evaluate impact, share fundraising and outreach ideas, and gain valuable insight on how the program works in North Dakota and internationally.

First Lady Betsy Dalrymple promotes Dolly Parton's Imagination Library across North Dakota. This amazing program mails a free, age-appropriate book every month to any enrolled child between the ages of 0-5 at a yearly cost to the community of only $25 per child.

The Imagination Library was started in 1995 by Dolly Parton for the children in her hometown of Sevier County. The program inspires a love of reading and guarantees all children will have quality books in the home. The program is about inspiration and imagination.
